I called the corps office at Barren yesterday and was told the only ramp open for this weekend would be Baileys point.... and dont expect a turn around lol

I am planning on fishing Barren this weekend if its possible. The daily lakes report still shows the lake holding at 26 feet above summer pool. If that's accurate is their any ramps that are usable right now? It is a three hour drive and I have a room reserved at the state park any info would be greatly appreciated. That way I don't waste a lot of gas money driving down and not be able to fish. Thanks in advance.

There is not much fishable water out there right now. The outside edge of the trees is in 26 feet of water and unless you want to crank the edges or can get back in there without beating your boat all to pieces you may want to put that trip off.I am planning on fishing Barren this weekend if its possible. Has anyone fished Barren since it has been high? If you have how's the bite?
was there sat and water was up in the trees so far it was hard to fish
managed to get a 3 pounder off the new showerhouse at the port oliver ramp ( all the KEEP OUT signs were under water and i didnt see them)
had a slot fish and a kentucky all on yellow !!!
fluke and spinner bait work the tree tops completly under water first
baileys point is the only ramp useable at this time so get there early if you want a spot

Thanks for all the info. I plan on still going down unless something major changes. I will post a report when I get back.
