Pontooner, the Bush tax cuts won't hurt the economy, that's for sure. It is a start that's far better than your party's answers. So far your guys have spent a trillion dollars with the promise unemployment wouldn't go above 8%, and jacked the deficit so far out of control it's not likely to get paid for in our lifetime.

The only answer to improving the economy is to drastically shrink the federal government, cut taxes for EVERYONE, and get the heck out of the way. It's not a difficult concept...most of us get it.

The Liberal Dems have also taken advantage of a tough situation and rushed through an unconstitutional 'healthcare' bill that will eventually be gutted. Bottom line is the government cannot legally force us to buy insurance, and the courts will bear that out.

No, the new crop of Republicans, or the same old ones for that matter can't magically fix our problems, but I think they finally understand that a bloated government, out of control spending, and forced wealth redistribution is the wrong answer.

I disagree that 2012 will be the same old same old. This country is not going to stand by and be turned into a European style nanny state. I haven't heard Mr. Obama's comments on this election, but I've heard he said this vote happened because he hasn't done enough so far. If that's true, and he continues with his current agenda he will be launched in 2012 along with the rest of those standing by him. Goodbye and good riddance.
