Right now with this administration we are heading this country so far left that democracy is doomed to fail.

Care to explain this, because it's said often on his board and really the only thing I can think of that this administration has put into place that would even be remotley considered "far left" is the Healthcare bill.

Now if you consider Bush's policies as being "far left" then I guess we could agree because Obama has continued many, many of his policies much to the dismay of those on the left.

I don't vote, never voted, NEVER WILL. This way I take no blame or credit for the Government. I will say, when was the last President voted into office that actually lived up to the campaign and actually do IN OFFICE what he said he would do in order to get elected? I can promise the world to get elected but it is THE WALK NOT THE TALK that gets things changed. I for one believe we are in the midst of MANY years of downward spiraling to which the end will be millionaires and poverty. There will not be a middle class, unions and there ridiculous contracts or not. When a watermelon cost $7, corn is $5 a dozen, gas and milk is $3.80 a gallon there is no end in sight to the rising cost of everything, foreclosures and bankruptcy. Face it we are in a depression and the only difference to today and 80 years ago is there are more people living on credit and above their means because some government program will bail them out short term. But long term, 40 years from now, WHAT????

Spending billions to help the people in Libya when the same thing is happening in Syria and not a word is said. Just to name a few.

But the only reason it is, is because republicans fought it tooth and nail to kill it.Obama was willing to let the Bush tax cuts expire but the republicans again stood their ground and would not sign the budget until they were included in it. Everything Obama has done on immigration is eye wash. He hopes to have an amnesty plan to allow 13 million illegal immigrants to vote in the next election. If he succeeds then he's a shoe in. If he really wanted to cut the budget he would enforce immigration laws and tighten security at border. Then stop the flow of cash across the border into Mexico. This would cause many illegals to leave. The drain on our school systems and healthcare facilities would diminish. He should stop social security payments to illegals that haven't paid a dime into it. Stop college scholarships for illegal immigrants and stop federal aid to sanctuary cities.Operation fast and furious was preparation to gain political support for stricter gun laws. Watch for him to tighten gun laws soon. Spending money that we don't have is stupid. The country is all ready fighting two wars and has a huge deficit. Why go into Libya? To get us deeper in debt? He can't justify it because the same thing is happening in Syria and he didn't go in there. Don't tell me that the budget crisis is not his fault. He spent 3 trillion dollars since he has been in office and we still have a 9% unemployment rate. He jokes about his shovel ready projects while people are out of work.

Just curious because the Dream Act would only allow amnesty for illegals between certain ages and would be tied to them meeting educational or military requirments and that would not even come close to giving amnesty to 13 million illegals if thats what your talking about. From what I've read the Dream Act would give amnesty to as many as 1.1 million illegals only. Also I think there is/was a rule in the bill that it does not grant legal immigrant status to anyone for at least two 2 years.

Three, the law says that they must attend college not graduate. Four Obama didn't start the war in Libya, the rebels did and Obama just thought we would join in and waste a few billion dollars that we can't afford. Read the newspapers, the economy is failing while your precious Obama is charging 38,500 dollars a plate to eat birthday cake and millions of people are looking for work.

Now whether you were misinformed or just throwing out some big number as red meat for the board pubs to eat up I have no idea but that is why I asked if the 13 million illegals that you claimed could get to vote was a result from the Dream Act or some other amnesty plan I hadn't heard about.

I don't know exactaly what time frame Michele Bachman is counting from for her sustained comment but if you look at unemployment rates from Apr. 1982 thru Sept. 1983 you won't find a rate lower than 9.2% and 10 out of 18 months over 10% so I guess she just decide to skip that time frame since Reagan was POTUS but of course that was all Carters fault, never mind I forgot that a previous administration can't be blamed for problems.
