So sorry that you and some of your redneck friends are so sensitive that you cant handle the truth when it is mentioned to you. I mean really get a grip. The US is not perfect either but you folks think it is and it plain naive of you. Dont be concerned as you folks cant handle any other opinions than your own so I wont post here any longer. Thought you were above such pettiness Bugsy but I was wrong. There are some great guys on here and you know who you are so I bid you adieu and you wont have to listen to the ranting of me anymore. Have a nice life. Bye all.
    1. Judging by your career it sounds like you've done your fair share of trying to make the world a better place. It takes a special person to do what you were doing...I for one am definitely not cut out for such work...so thanks!

    2. Rednecks eh? LOL....That's probably the reason why we're the power house nation that we are in the first place. It ain't that we can't handle the truth, and no we're not naive either...we know this country has plenty of problems, you should know that by reading some of the posts here, people complaining about lack of leadership in the government, etc...it's kind of like a family...sure we may argue and not get along with each other at times, but let an outsider step in and try to do harm to one of our own, then things start getting ugly real quick.

    3. Wish I had a dollar for everytime someone got their feelings hurt on this website, lol...heck Gills...why tuck tail and run? Just because something didn't go your way? How lame is that! Or is that what Canadian's do when things don't go their way, tuck tail and run? Bwahahaaaa....

Just kidding...I could careless who posts and who doesn't...stay if you like, or never come back...it's all good either way.

And remember...this is just my own opinion...don't go off, as you mentioned in your post, just "get a grip", lol...

All of this reminds me of some patriotic stickers that were made back in the late 70's/early 80's....when Iran took a couple hundred Americans hostage. It was a cartoonish looking sticker, red, white and blue in color depicting a bald eagle wearing boxing gloves, underneath it read: "Mess with the best, die like the rest".

    Later Gills!

I don't know where you're getting this information, but it's not at all what I've seen/read. The crux of the charges is the fact that he did NOT stop following Martin when he was told to by law enforcement. Instead, he keeps following, saying, "They always get away." Then he goes on and makes sure this one doesn't.

He may not go down for the murder charge, but he will be convicted of something.

    Re: George Zimmerman

This has nothing to do with Zimmerman, but:

All of these white verses black crimes...man I get tired of hearing about it all...I get tired of seeing some black guy caught on tape, struggling with two or three WHITE officers only to have the suspect's family cry and complain about police brutality. Heck...we all know the "African American voice is as loud or louder than that of the Gay/Equal rights voice...not sure what can be done to turn things around or at least equal things out...but check out this bit I found on Wikipedia>>>

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murders...stopher_Newsom

Two youngin's down in Knoxville, TN...Both the male AND female were brutally raped and murdered by a gang of black thugs...but, guess what? I bet none of you all ever heard about it...I never heard about it either until just today. I wonder why the national news didn't pick up this story and run with it?

I reckon the story to be TRUE...If it's not, then I stand corrected.

Actually it appears what you have "seen/read" is incorrect. After reading how NBC edited the tape out of context I was curious to know just what the truth was and searched for the 911 tape to actually listen to it for myself. While Zimmerman does say "they always get away" he said the much earlier in the conversation, and not after he was asked to stop following him. Actually the "following him" portion of the tape sounds to be a very short period of time and then he does say OK when asked not to follow. You can also hear that he stops following because when he was following you could hear the wind (from running) and you could hear he was breathing heavier. It sounds like he then stops and is coordinating with the 911 operator where he is and where he can meet with the officer that was on the way.

It does appear that much of the reporting of this has been inaccurate at best, or purposely slanted at the worst.

Now as far as what happened after the call I don't have a clue. I don't know enough of the facts to form an opinion at this point, but my initial gut feeling after hearing the tape is that second degree murder sounds a little severe. I just hope that the all the evidence and truth comes out at the trial and the jury does it job.

Here is the link to the tape:

Well then I stand corrected. Just goes to show how you can't judge by what you see through the media, and that means pretty much ANY media. So I'll leave it to others to judge the facts.

    Gezzz Louise.

I can hardly believe some of the post about this topic. From Zimmerman was beaten to an inch of his life, to wearing a hoodie and on and on.

Trail by media critics are the same ones spouting the media claims on both sides. Guess it depends on what channel you watch.

One thing is for danged sure...I wont be wearing my hoodie on those cool days on the lake anymore.

And I will not carrry concealled skittles either.

This was a 17 year old child for goodness sakes. If he does not deserve a fair investigation none of us do.

If criminals aren't allowed to get guns then how do they get them?

As far as self defense and stand your ground wouldn't the young man have the right to beat up someone coming at him with a gun? Kind the chicken and the egg thing, Trayvon Martin sees some man coming towards him with a gun it is understandable he might jump on him and beat him feeling his life was in danger. Zimmerman gets jumped by a suspicious character who start beating him so he shoots to defend himself.

This case really is a sad tragic mess. I hope a jury can sort through it all and the truth is revealed.
It could be that Zimmerman was following him and he didn't like it and turned around and beat him. Zimmerman defended himself. I don't know because I wasn't there. It was stupid to call the cops anyhow. The policeman is not anybody's friend.

He died a violent death committing an act of VIOLENCE.

My statement was not crass. I bet it is proven to be true.

AND with regards to his parents.. They have made numerous paid appearances with regards to this incident. Some of those are legitimate, some are questionable. SOME are DEFINITELY NOT.

Sorry, but we don't know the story and may never know the story. What is FACT is that the parents are all over the place, making appearances in the name of their dead child. Maybe they should let justice resolve this issues, NOT the media.
