Nah, I'll never be short of an opinion Mark...and like you I'm never shy about putting it out there.

Islamic terrorists have changed our way of life, and they show no sign of letting up. How anyone could say we've won the war on terror is beyond comprehension.

Maybe its not en vogue to call it the war on terror. I suppose the Obama administration would call it 'suppression of workplace violence' or possibly 'interdiction of the planting of explosive devices at major recreation events'.

I hear ya Bro, I guess I grow tired of argueing in my old age, lol..
Here's what I can't understand.....Radical Islamic/Muslims do not understand compassion or understanding they view that as weakness and it actually enhances their violent acts against us and others. Why do so many live in a state of denial on this? The embracing efforts to understand yada yada is not working....AT ALL.
The only thing these animals understand is the Sword and the Gun. You have to fight them in the trenches and be meaner and more savy than they are. I won't post on here what I would have wanted done to that Yap to make him talk because it would hurt all these sensitive guys feelings. But I can tell you that sum bitch would have talked big time. It's time for this country to get back to basics and quit all this crybaby feel good crap. It actually makes me sick. Sitting around a campfire making smores and bumpin pee pee's ain't working, it's time to kick some serious ass but we can't for all the love and compassion and for what. Animals that hate our guts and want to kill our children and laugh at us afterwards. I'm done, I'm old school, all our fathers and past veteran warriors are rolling over in their graves....

A couple of points. First understanding. Yes, it is important. Understand what turns these people radical may help us to figure out how to stop others from becoming radical. Also, by better understanding how they think/feel about things enables us to better combat the terrorists. Know thy friends, but know thy enemies better, or something to that effect. Once you find them out, I agree, hit them hard.

Making that yap talk. Umm, seemed like he was talking just fine without any pressure. Why the need for any enhanced interrogation techniques? We start down that road and they'll be using that against us a a recruitment tactic. The thing that we did wrong in this case was reading him his Miranda rights before we got all of the needed intel out of him. Should have let him keep talking. I would be shocked to learn that it was only he and his brother who were in the know on this. We need to know who was in the know and what they knew, then act accordingly.

We are actually being more savvy than them. Hitting terrorist targets with drones so our people are not put in harms way. Using drones/satellites to map out other potential targets. Given what we know about the Boston terrorists, we have a ways to go. Looks like we missed several red flags that could have prevented the attack in the first place.

Don't know who is sitting around the campfire making smores and bumpin pee pees. The US and our allies have been kicking some butt, in a variety of locations. Al Queda is still around, but nowhere near what they were at the time of 9-11. And yes, I know we have a ways to go on this.

DH, no worries, I did not feel singled out. Just responding as I saw fit. I don't claim to speak for other "liberals" on the board.

They turn to TERRORISM because they are "taught", I mean indoctrinated to believe that their "god" wants them to kill and murder the infidel........NO OTHER REASON.

Crush them like cockroaches........or turn the whole freakin region into molten glass, and sell the residual glass to the Chinese as trinkets..........

    Later,

    Geo

Sure there are radicals as with timothy mcveigh among many other non muslims. A few muslims hate because we are free and infringe on what little rising up they do. Why do we have to but into their business? Oil is the only thing I can think of. Rwanda is an excellent example. Why not stop all the hundreds of thousands of murders that happened there? Oil? I dont know but we did almost nothing there and they are dirt poor.

True freedom eh? Before middle eastern terrorists I used to be able to get off the plane in the the city I was traveling to by the time I even get to the departure gate these days. Before terrorists there was no bloated Homeland Security Dept. with the power to ignore my constitutional rights. Before terrorists every event and travel venue didn't have to have a cadre of armed government employees.

Your quote we've already won and your thought process have no merit. None. In fact they seriously piss me off; along with a lot of people whose family members have been killed by radical Islamic terrorists.

I've never said I don't like Obama...but I've said on many occasions I don't like his policies or his politics.

If you read what I wrote, I didn't criticize him for guarding anything. I criticized him for allowing his Attorney General to send over a lawyer and judge to interrupt the FBI's questioning of the scumbag they caught. Never even told the FBI they were coming, just barged in. Then Eric Holder's people Mirandized said scumbag ...and said scumbag immediately shut up till he could get lawyered up.

    You support that move?

I also criticized Mr. Obama for using politically correct mealy mouthed terms to describe TERRORISM instead of having the balls to call it what it is.

Never said he was guarding anything, but as the leader of this country he is ultimately responsible. That is the bottom line no matter how many sycophants in the media stick up for him.

Timothy McVeigh is on a pretty short list. The list of Islamic radical terrorists is volumes long and dates back 40 or 50 years. A few Muslims? If there are 1% (the figure is actually significantly higher) of the billions of them who hate infidels enough to blow innocent people up, that means there are hundreds of thousands if not millions.

"what little rising up they do".....??? Is that a joke? Been living in a hole? Are you that drunk on lib kool aide?

Are you capable of staying on track? WTF has Rwanda got to do with Islamic radical terrorists in America?

I'll have to decide whether it's worth wasting any more time on you brother, I truly believe you are delusional.

No need to rationalize with you. We dont see it the same way and thats ok. I would like to ask you though, the way I understand it he should have been given his miranda rights from the beginning shouldnt he? He went through the process and became a US Citizen and was one. I am not taking up for him but watching my rights as a US born citizen!
Also I hope I havent peed anyone off especially anyone with a loved one lost. You tell me then exactly why they hate us and why my statement ( we have already one ) was wrong.

He is an enemy combatant........He waged jihad on America.

CRS-8 is pretty clear below......he should never have been read miranda based on historical precedence, which is what the LAW is ALL about.
