I sure hope those fools at the UN didn't rely on any of THESE weather stations:

AND I wonder why on earth your beloved CNN or NBC or BBC or any other "news" organization didn't report the weather station flaw story above........
You wonder why pubs are so SICK of the main stream.

Actually I believe both those things. But I am not convinced as to what the level of man-made influence is.
One reason is this: the Earth warmed from 1978 to 1998. Existing computer models couldn't reproduce the warming trend using the existing variables in the models for natural forces. So, the conclusion was made by the IPCC that the warming was man-made.
But when those same models failed to anticipate the lack of warming over the past decade or so, the IPCC admitted that their models failed to account for the fluctuations in natural forces.
In other words, if it warms, we have the models right and man is the cause. If it doesn't warm, we don't have the models right.
Just not reliable enough to me.
I have a hard time believing it exists. The information has been corrupt for so many years that now when it comes out I laugh at how I am supposed to believe it this time. The fact that this was changed from Global Warming to Climate Change says everything to me. IMO.....the term Global Warming wasn't just mentioned one day during a speech....it was discussed, agreed upon and deemed to be the term to carry this information forward and save the earth...along with billions of dollars to support anyone who wants to climb aboard. Once the data was finding opposition they (supporters, scientists, beneficiaries) couldn't take the hit on their beloved ideals so they changed it to something that cannot be disputed....Climate Change. It has become so political that it has to be corrupt!!! We all know how easy it is for political figures to support something if it means money to their supporters.
Do I believe in climate change? Yes happens all the time. Four seasons....Warm days in winter cool days in the summer. Cooooold winters and warm winters....hoooot summers and not so hot summers. Droughts, floods......This has been going on for as long as I can remember. So we have had Global Warming since I was in Elementary school? Earlier than that??? Haven't we had odd winter storms or dry spells back in the 1800's, 20's, 30's etc.....wonder what caused that??? Flatulence?
Change it back to Global Warming and keep trying to prove that it's real and maybe I will start to actually accept this as fact because when they keep changing their approach, politicians getting involved and facts come out showing bogus data I cannot believe 100% of what they say.
Al Gore wouldn't lie to us would he??
Nobody ever mentions about biblical droughts and floods; remember Elijah prayed for rain, Noah built an ark in preparation for the flood. Obviously these climate changes have been occuring for thousands/millions of years. There were even earthquakes during those times, also. It doesn't take a scientist to realize that the weather is hot in summer and cold in winter. Some years there are droughts and some years there is too much rain. Always has been, always will be, and nobody can change it.Actually I believe both those things. But I am not convinced as to what the level of man-made influence is.

Hmmm... the sky must be falling, I agree with most of you guys opinion on most of this, I even agree with whoever thinks Al Gore was an idiot, we dodged a bullet when he lost the election I think, I do think George Bush jr. might have been the worst president we have had, either he or LBJ... It's unlikely any sane person thinks the climate doesn't change, to believe that you would have to not believe the planet went through an ice age... I think mother nature is the culprit in the majority of climate change... We likely have an effect on climate but it is unlikely we have the capacity to 'save the planet'... Politicians have the capacity to muck up whatever they get their hands and heads into.... I do believe we have a cleaner planet (air, water, land) as a result of changing the way we have done business in the last 50 or 60 years.
Having said all that--I think we should all make our energy choices as if all the climate change alarmists are correct. Shouldn't we all take care of the environment, conserve energy, waste less, make choices that have as minimal impact as possible on the Earth? As a Christian, I view that philosophy as a responsibility given to us by God as we serve as stewards of Creation.Actually I believe both those things. But I am not convinced as to what the level of man-made influence is.

Where I part ways with the prevailing thought is that I think they should be our choices to make. When it comes to government mandates, we already have lost enough of our freedoms here in the U.S., and no one will ever convince me that the science, or at the very least the conclusions drawn from the science, aren't driven by politics and a feeding frenzy for grant funding.
