Yes I think they wait slightly out of the current where they have a view to " Ambush " Any unsuspecting prey that might happen by.
You probably pull those jigs about the same speed as the current don't you?

Since I'm going with the current, I am slightly faster in order to maintain steerage control of the boat. I try to go just fast enough the maintain boat control...it doesn't take much.
